Dorothy O’Brien Innovation Lab

The new School of Human Ecology (SoHE) Dorothy O’Brien Innovation Lab is a 1,700 square foot, flexible, multipurpose learning space for students. Its layout is optimized for design thinking strategies, including collaboration, prototyping, and group ideation.

The Dorothy O’Brien Innovation Lab is an important step in SoHE’s continued dedication to the process of design thinking for our student body. By continually building on our most successful practices while nurturing the best new ideas, UW–Madison is developing the next generation of creative problem solvers through our Design Thinking Program.
