CDMC Galleries Tour Request Form

Thank you for your interest in visiting! The Ruth Davis Design Gallery and Lynn Mecklenburg Textile Gallery are teaching galleries collection with over 3,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space combined. With exhibitions focused on the CDMC research pillars of textiles, design, and material culture, exhibitions include local, national, and international makers, and design students at UW–Madison. The majority of exhibitions in the CDMC galleries are organized by center staff, campus faculty, and guest curators who collaborate with a variety of campus departments and organizations.

Visiting the gallery is free and open to the public. All are welcome to visit during regular open hours, appointments are not required. Open hours during the academic year as as followed: Monday–Tuesday: closed, Wednesday–Friday: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (Thursday open until 7:00 p.m.), Saturday-Sunday: 12:00–4:00 p.m.

To request a tour with CDMC staff, please complete the form below. Priority is given to classes and student groups. We ask that requests be at least two weeks before your preferred visit date. If a section is not applicable to your visit, please enter “N/A.” Once you have submitted this from, a staff member will be in touch to confirm your visit date and time, and follow up with any additional information.
