Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection Group & Research Visit Request Form

The Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection is a teaching collection with over 13,000 textile artifacts spanning 16 centuries and 108 countries, making it one of the nation’s largest university-held textile collections. Thousands of pieces from the collection are available for public study, loaned to outside exhibitions, and more than 9,000 objects are viewable online.

To request a visit, please complete the form below. We ask that requests be at least two weeks before your preferred visit date. If a section is not applicable to your visit, please enter “N/A.” Once you have submitted this from, a staff member will be in touch to confirm your visit date and time, and follow up with any additional information.
