Originally a makerspace within the the Material Intelligence exhibit, the WIP Lab now offers monthly student-led making workshops in various locations around SoHE. In each workshop, participants will be introduced to a hands-on skill through a making project.
Are you a UW student who is interested in leading a WIP Lab workshop? Read more and reach out to Bo Owen, the CDMC Engagement Manager, at bo.owen@wisc.edu. We are especially seeking hands-on making workshops related to quilts and quilting for the 2025-2026 academic year.
