Faculty Affiliate

To apply for Faculty Affiliate status, individuals must submit a research statement or letter of intent to the Executive Director of the center. The letter must include an up-to-date vita or a link to the applicant’s website that lists representative work or equivalent. Applicants will be notified of affiliate status via a letter from the Executive Director. Please send application material via email through the link provided.

Become a
Graduate Affiliate (pilot)

The center is piloting a new Graduate Affiliate program for enrolled UW–Madison students. To apply for Graduate Affiliate status, applicants must submit a letter of intent, including a research statement, reason for requesting affiliation, and an up-to-date vita or a link to the applicant’s website that lists representative work or equivalent. Applicants should also include their advisor’s name and email. Applicants will be notified of affiliate status via a letter from the Executive Director. Affiliate Benefits

  • The opportunity to receive support for center-sponsored programs, including, but not limited to, services offered from center and School of Human Ecology staff. Examples include the identification of funding opportunities; multidisciplinary team and concept development; pre-award submission support; post-award administration, etc.
  • Orientation to center resources for teaching and research, pursuant to review and approval by center staff and committees.
  • Publications of the Center and its website, as well as promotion of Affiliate work through Center communications.
  • Invitations to Center-related events and activities.
  • Convening and collaboration with other Center Affiliates; training and professional development opportunities.
